Blaze Ensemble
Chamber
Founded in 1997, Blaze Ensemble is a London chamber group whose repertoire ranges from small wind ensembles to chamber orchestra. Alongside established works, it has commissioned and premiered music by contemporary British composers.
George Vass
Conductor
Conductor George Vass trained at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and Royal Academy of Music. Artistic director of the Presteigne Festival since 1992, he has led Regent Sinfonia of London and Orchestra Nova in concerts and festivals throughout the UK.
Nick Ridley
Oboe
Oboist Nick Ridley studied music at City University and oboe at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He holds principal oboe positions with the Corinthian Chamber Orchestra and Salomon Orchestra and also plays cor anglais with Forest Philharmonic.
