Browsing and sign-in
The site does not use advertising trackers or marketing cookies. Hosting and sign-in services process essential technical information to operate and protect it. Sign-in is currently provided by ChatGPT, not a separate email-and-password system. Hour Classics receives a site-specific identifier and your email address. Your email is not published, stored in the public profile or added to a mailing list. We do not store passwords.
Your collection and profile
Your identifier connects saved events, follows, attendance and itineraries. If you create a community profile, its display name, username and biography are visible to other site visitors, along with published reviews and discussions. Choose what you share carefully. You can change your profile and switch off new message requests.
Private messages and moderation
Private conversations can be read through the site only by their participants. A new correspondent must have their request accepted before sending further messages. Messages are stored on the service and are not end-to-end encrypted. Reporting a message makes that specific message available to an authorised moderator; moderators do not have a general inbox-reading screen. The service operator and infrastructure providers may have administrative access to stored data.
You can block members and report profiles, messages, reviews and posts. Public contributions may be hidden and accounts suspended to address abuse. Reports and moderation audit records may be retained for safety and accountability, including after profile deletion.
Location, maps and YouTube
Your selected concert city is remembered in this browser’s local storage. You can change it with the city chooser; it is not a precise location or a tracking identifier.
“Near me” asks your browser for permission. Coordinates stay in the open page for approximate distance calculations; they are not saved in your account or sent to our server. Opening a map loads Leaflet and OpenStreetMap tiles, whose providers receive technical information including your IP address.
YouTube loads only after you press Play. We use its privacy-enhanced embed domain, but playback still contacts YouTube and is subject to its privacy practices. Its player can use cookies or similar storage, show advertisements and link to external content. Close the player to stop playback. Organiser, donation and directions links also lead to external services.
Selected composer pages offer owner-selected recordings through visible YouTube embeds. Selecting a track or pressing Play loads YouTube; recordings are not downloaded or hosted by Hour Classics.
Download and deletion
My Account provides separate downloads for your collection and community data. Clearing your collection removes saved items, attendance and itineraries without deleting your profile. Deleting community data removes your profile and reviews, replaces your own messages and posts with deletion markers, and hides discussions you started. Other participants’ messages, essential identifiers needed to preserve their conversations, safety reports and audit records are retained. It does not delete your ChatGPT account.
Understanding use
Selected actions are counted in daily totals associated with concerts or venues. They have no visitor identifier or precise location and measure clicks, not confirmed attendance. Essential rate-limit counters help prevent abuse and expire automatically.
