THE PLACE & THE MUSIC
A place to pause.
Santa Cecilia’s conservatoire is part of Rome’s long musical teaching tradition, with roots in the institution founded in the sixteenth century and a present home close to Piazza di Spagna. The Sala Accademica at Via dei Greci is an intimate historic performance space used for student, faculty and guest recitals.
This is the conservatoire building near Via del Babuino, not the Accademia Nazionale’s modern halls at the Auditorium Parco della Musica. Its central position places it within walking distance of the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo.
Free concerts at different times of day; see each individually checked listing.
