OperaCamion began in 2016, taking opera beyond the theatre and into Rome’s neighbourhoods. At Via della Stazione in Cesano, the travelling stage occupies the car park near the station; the practical gathering point remains in the directions while the venue name stays concise.

The 2026 production combines the theatre’s orchestra and singers with participation from local choirs. The temporary open-air stage makes the station area a neighbourhood gathering place for one evening, with the performance offered without a ticket price.
