THE PLACE & THE MUSIC

A place to pause.

The Chapel of St Peter and St Paul was completed in 1751 as part of the Royal Hospital for Seamen. A fire destroyed the original interior in 1779; the chapel reopened in 1789 with the richly decorated space visitors see today.

Its Samuel Green organ, also completed in 1789, is an important part of a musical tradition now shared with Trinity Laban performers.

Dates and free admission are checked individually against the organiser’s listings.
